It's a big job and I'm hoping to find a sponsor A big issue with
moderation and a lot of the dada_bridge pl authentication stuff (is
the person who's mailing to the list allowed to, and if so - in what
circumstances?) is that it gets quite complicated and I want to have
a really good testing suite, since if it doesn't work, it's gonna
have a lot of security issues Here's the basic blueprint, (give or
take some stuff):

You're not the only one that's asking for this (and a LOT of people
were both surprised and little irked that it was gone), so I may just
bump it up in priority and then flesh out the rest whenever I can
find some sponsorship It just has to be framed a little different -
it's not really a list of moderators, it's a list of email addresses
that are allowed to both post to the list without needing to be on
the list and also a list of email addresses that don't need moderation

I don't know if I did mention this, but I've turned off moderation
for this list, since the CAPTCHA stuff has really picked out the
'bots and there hasn't been an odd weird post in a while (queue
Murphy) This also helps with actual discussion, since I'm in
training right now for a big bike tour, and it sometimes takes hours
to approve a message
