just being curious (as I am perl coding myself); talking of the dada_files content, why did you put that many
parameter information on so many different files? There are many
just_one_ine files Not for the adresses, but for many others of those, wouldn't it be
quicker to read the params from one file into an array that offers
the vars to e g mail cgi in one single read? What advantage convinced you of a multi-oneliner-file-solution ? cheers, Manfred
The answer to this is actually - there is no advantage - these files
are simply the backup files and aren't used, "live"
The only time
they're used is if you restore your lists - you may never do this
The reason why every paramter is in its own file is to deal easily
with newlines/weird characters in the values of the variables
themselves
The variables that are used, "live" are saved in the
binary db files - the ones that start with, "mj-"
