Just for your curiosity, I use a Application Framework called,
CGI::Application, which you can learn more about at:

I talked to the current maintainer of CGI::Application (meaning, in
my studio!) and he's looking for a killer app to use the Framework
and we thought Dada Mail would be a good candidate It would take a
tremendous amount of work to port Dada Mail over to this system, but
it has many benefits - the biggest and most obvious would be the
ability to run multiple sessions of Dada Mail throughout a server,
with only having one installation of Dada Mail itself Neat This
would really appeal to hosting companies, but still allow you to
install your own copy, if you'd like I've used CGI::App for
