In practice, I think it's reasonable to assume that all Dada Mail administrators will have JavaScript enabled or will at least know how to do so Wouldn't you agree?

Generally, yes Here's one case to consider when JavaScript wouldn't be available:

Our corporate ticket tracking system is not normally accessible outside our network If I need to use it from home, I can ssh into my desktop at work, and then use a text-based browser (with no JS support) to use the ticket tracking system At times like these, I'm thankful it doesn't require JavaScript

Of course, if I was more of a networking guru, I could use VPN or proper ssh tunnelling, and not have this problem

The point is, it's always nice to work with JavaScript if you can, because even tech-savvy admins might like or need to access the admin area without JavaScript now and then

The question is then: Is this an edge case worth considering supporting in Dada Mail? That's up to you
