There would be a limit to how many addresses you could have - say, 10, but then you could send a test message to many addresses at once, instead of just the list owner
I know I'd use this feature So IMO: sure, go for it if that's what's inspiring you at the moment It shouldn't kill anyone if things are held back another "not too long"
Some functional questions: will we be able to select the "test recipients" by picking and choosing from the main subscription list, or will we have to cut-and-paste them in manually? And similarly: will addresses added to the test-recipients list also be added to the main subscription list automatically? What about deletions -- if a "test lister" unsubscribes themselves from the main list, will they get pulled from the test list as well?
Hope these questions don't put a cramp in your estimated time of arrival for a realization of the concept If they do, significantly, it may be best to bump it further down the roadmap instead
