Re: reCAPTCHA in subscription form?

I really think long and hard about removing features. Usually it's a maintenance problem: would keeping the feature stop other, better features from being added? Is keeping the feature taking too much time on my end to make it worth it for me supporting it?

The problem with bogus addresses flooding subscription forms is a very real one, and unfortunately, adding a CAPTCHA on step #1 seems to be the best way to combat it - it's something I resisted for a while, but what-cha-gonna-do?

The only thing removed from Dada Mail in re: Captcha was support for v1 of reCAPTCHA. That was done some time ago, and now, v1 support on Google's side has been turned off, so nothing lost, I guess ;)

From: maryann@PROTECTED I knew it had been available at one time, but when I searched the documentation that was all I found so I thought it had been removed. I’ll look again and see what I missed.

reCATPCHA is actually added on the subscription form itself. Past options allow you to have solving a CAPTCHA be a step after clicking the confirmation link (which is still an option)
