I’m suddenly seeing a lot more unsubscribe emails from gmail users instead of people actually clicking the unsubscribe link in the email I know their one click unsubscribe has been in place for years, but I’ve only been seeing this big increase in people using this method instead of Dada’s built in method for the past month or two Anyone have any ideas about how to handle this? I started to set up an autoresponder with instructions for unsubscribing, but is there any way to have Dada process these kinds of unsubscribes in a future release?
I find it annoying, especially since google doesn’t require senders to offer unsubscription by reply in its guidelines, but with the number of gmail users out there, I see this becoming an issue for any mailing script that uses an “http" unsubscribe method instead of a “reply to” method https://support google com/mail/answer/81126?hl=en#unsub
Thoughts?
Warm regards,
Mary Ann
