A few ideas, but mostly: upgrade, if you can The schedules are going to work out better I had to stop developing Beatitude, as the code just needed an entire rewrite, which I did (then added it to core, rather than a plugin), and I'm much more happier with it
As far the cronjob not firing correctly, in this instance, perhaps you need t either add the curl flag to pass the User Agent,
/usr/bin/curl --user-agent "Mozilla/5 0 (compatible;)" -s --get --data run=1\;passcode=\;verbose=0 --url http://www domainhere com/cgi-bin/dada/plugins/bounce_handler cgi
Or, you can also try calling it directly:
cd /home/youraccount/public_html/cgi-bin/dada/plugins; /usr/bin/perl /bounce_handler cgi --verbose
(just to note: this cronjob is specific for v7 x and below)
