The utf-8 encoding garble is what is showing up in the listing of emails instead of the sender's name, and when the email is opened it precedes that address instead of listing the name Most of the time it displays the name properly I haven't been able to determine a common factor like certain ISPs, but it does seem to be the same addresses that are doing it each time (not many, but it's consistent with a couple of them) It's not just in my mail program either - same thing when I view the archives in Dada Any idea why?
Ah, interesting That garbled text that you see is how UTF-8 encoded strings are put into email headers, where I think only ASCII is supported Weird, huh? I don't decode the strings before rewriting this header, so things get basically corrupted in a weird way Here's an intro:

I'll open up an issue about this
And thanks for the issue report for Beatitude - I think the changes I've made will fix the things you've found and should be out in v7 0 5, (https://github com/justingit/dada-mail/issues/443)
