Private Mailing List
Private Mailing List will differ from Public Mailing Lists in one big way: support for unsubscribing would be optional. Some use cases:
This sounds great to me, since out of the seven lists I maintain, three are what might be considered "private." If this project works out to be able to support both public and private lists with one instance of Dada Mail, then I expect that we would be willing to pony up a fee for the program. The ability to control who can/can't unsubscribe from a list, along with dropping the Unsubscription link from each message, would be key features. As I've said before in these discussions, we like Dada Mail because it can send a web page as the message (something other programs don't do). We also maintain "private" lists that are mandatory for employees and students to be subscribed to, so subscriptions are maintained and controlled by one administrator (me).Bruce in BlacksburgVirginia Tech WebmasterPost: mailto:dadadev@PROTECTED
