Yeah - you just described the opening and signature marks/comments So for example, in an HTML message, you'd put all that, "if the newsletter doesn’t render properly in your browser" text between the opening comments:
if the newsletter doesn’t render properly in your browserThen, just check,
[x] Show Archived Messages without the Mailing List Template Applied
In, Message Archives >> Advanced Options (it should be checked, by default)
You'll notice that the default mailing list message templates use these tags,
(Mailing list information, including how to remove yourself, is located at the end of this message )
