Yeah, and I noticed that not everyone actually uses the profiles Perhaps it could be set up that when someone requests a password, THEN is checks to see if a profile exists and creates one if it doesn’t Then, only people that want to log in will have an actual account to do so

I had actually modeled it after Drupal The profile was being crated with a random password and added to the profile log-in page something to the tune of "If you haven’t logged in before, click here to set your password " And the reset password process would begin
That's probably a better workflow than what's there, which is currently not very nice to the user, or the list owner I'll make a note to change how things go - I think the reason it's not there now is a performance issue - when importing 10,000 people, it'd be 10,000 more SELECT queries to see if a profile exists, and then, 10,000 more INSERT queries Some optimizations would need to be done!
