Of course, you are right The subscriber fields are shared I forgot The "Update for all Mailing Lists" checkbox is for the email address only I have two lists, one for parents, one for youth Some families use a single email address for all family members so I was trying to have the parent list first name be the parent's name and in the youth list use the child's first name But since the email address is the same in both lists, there can only be one first name Not a big issue

That's correct - profile fields are shared between all mailing lists
even when "Update for all Mailing Lists" is NOT checked
Are you looking at essentially a different form on that same screen - the form to update the email address (only)?
