Re: v6.0.0 alpha 1 Released

I don't know Perl at all, but I'd be willing to contribute what I can financially for the continued development of the Scheduled Mailer. A few months ago Justin and I talked about developing an auto-responder as well, but then he got buried in working on this new release. I'm still willing to contribute to that (and Justin, I'm in a position to contribute a little more than we had originally discussed) and could see where the functionality of these two things might overlap.
Warm regards,

Mary Ann

If anyone who knows Perl can help, I'm sure Justin would appreciate that.  I don't use scheduled mailings anymore because my client who needed it went out of business but if my Perl skills were better (right now they're close to nonexistent) I would help out.

Alternatively, maybe people who really want scheduled mailings could pool some money and pay Justin for the development time to upgrade it.  We are really lucky to have someone who spends so much time on this program allow us to use it for free and maybe keeping this feature is worth something.
