I use amember for a membership site and they allow you to save all of the strings in the database. It's wonderful. There is a search form to search for the string you need to change (that is probably the biggest help, since searching for the right file to change the wording in Dada templates is a challenge - DW won't search in .tmpl files so it's just guesswork to open files and check for the string), then you just type your change into the box, click save, and it updates it, never to be overwritten by updates.

Since you aren't saving entire templates in there, it's easier when there is a major upgrade because it's really just strings of phrases that can be fed into any template, similar to the way you have the strings saved for the email and html templates for the lists in Dada. It's really just an expansion of that.
Warm regards,

Mary Ann

Easiest thing to do, is to just edit that template directly, I don't know if saving strings of templates in a database really makes sense.
