Justin,

Would it be possible to change the coding of the Discussion List plugin so that you can set up the mailings to be sent with the list name in the subject line even if it is announce-only? Currently the only way to enable the list name being appended to the subject line is to enable the discussion list option, which becomes a problem when people on a large list try to send emails to the list. I have moderation set up but it would be easier to reject emails from non-authorized senders (currently only possible if discussion list is not checked) but still have the list name automatically added to the subject line. 

Our situation is an announce only list for a sports team with approximately 10 authorized senders. We do not ever want members to be able to send to the list, but we do want all messages from the authorized senders to have the list name added to the subject line.

Basically I am asking to make option to have the List Name in the subject line a separate option instead of a sub-option for when discussion list is checked.
