I remember the issue of a spell checker was brought up a while ago, but I forget why it has not been a candidate for the wish list Any hope of adding that capability?

Wow! Big response for the, "Welcome Message" idea The big technical problem that to be overcome was to send a mass mailing to a temporary list of people and that actually wasn't too hard to do, so I'll implement the same functionality to other parts of the program One thing I can thing of is the "Request For Moderation" message that goes out All Mass Mailings use the batch settings, so this'll keep things from potentially going over any hourly quotas you may have

Another idea is, along with the, "Welcome" message, is to also send the most recent archived message to the new subscribers I love this feature for just self-signups, it may also be a nifty feature for list control panel subscriptions

Also - are there any requests for the default message for this welcome message? Right now, it's just similar to the, "Thanks for Subscribing" message sent out with a self-signup, but I could take some direction

Another feature I'd like to implement would be "Paid Subscriptions", by hooking up Dada Mail to some PayPal processing stuff, so that you could use PayPals subscription and renewal features to subscribe/unsubscribe mailing list subscribers:

https://cms paypal com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=render-content&contentID=developer/e_howto_html_subscribe_buttons

And perhaps I'll work on an experimental plugin to explore more auto-responder-ish features in Dada Mail (Unlike the Beatitude plugin, which doesn't allow you to have a series of messages, where individual subscribers will receive messages at their own schedule) Now that sending to a temporary list can be done (easily), well, that's a big hurtle already passed All that's left is to figure out the "what subscriber gets what message when" stuff Which even someone like me should figure out :)
