Hey Justin,
If I purchase the Pro Dada subscription WITH the Installation, would that cover all of these conversion/upgrade issues? I'm thinking that it may be more economical to pay you guys $50 than to spend half of a day plugging through it myself.
Thanks again for the assistance.
Rick

When I follow the instructions and use the same SQL domain/database/username/password, will that also transfer my Dada Bridge settings? Or, do I have to bring over any other files from the old install to enable that component? The settings are in the SQL backend, so those will transfer over, but you'll have to reinstall Dada Bridge (meaning, change the program's permissions to, 755, re-adjust the cronjob)Could this Simple Scripts set up be a reason that I can't seem to get CAPTCHA to work? That is the last component that I haven't been able to get running. Regardless of what I do, the check box to enable CAPTCHA remains grayed out and says that it isn't enabled and "You need to successfully configure your current CAPTCHA'ing system".Known bug in 4.3.0, https://github.com/justingit/dada-mail/issues/closed#issue/90 so upgrade to 4.3.1 would alleviate that.

Thanks for the info, Justin.
Sounds like a huge pain in the neck!

Simple Scripts installs Dada Mail using the SQL backend, which is good. The weird thing is that the directory structure they use, the last I checked, is all whacky, for no good reason. My advice is just to do a clean install of Dada Mail, but use the same SQL domain/database/username/password from the previous installation, for your new installation. That'll move over your mailing lists, subscribers and settings.
There's a little bit more on this, here:

I just installed the standard version of DadaMail using Simple Scripts on a Bluehost account. The install was completely automated, I simply had to configure the mailing lists and Dada Bridge to enable Discussion Lists.
I'm now realizing I need to purchase and upgrade to the Pro version.
Once I purchase the Pro version, do I follow the standard Version Upgrade instructions, or is there a different/simpler procedure to go from Standard to Pro?
Is there anything I should know so I don't end up losing the configuration and lists that I've spent the last couple of days working on?
Thanks for the help!
