Hi everyone
Noticed a recent few discussion about sending rates with Dada 3, and though I’d
share our new server speeds – yes we’ve just bought a big server
and dedicated it to just DaDa J - with a Pro Dada 3.0.4 Stable
Machine specifications:
- Dedicated dual core machine with 2G RAM
- a pair of 320G drives in RAID-1
- 3000GB/month bandwidth
(we got this amazingly priced from our hosting partner
KGBInternet in Canada – worth contacting them if you want similar!)
DaDa sending settings:
- Send with sendmail not SMTP
- Enable batch sending
- Send 10 message(s) per batch
- and then wait 0.01 seconds, before the next batch [custom
modification to DaDa to add this speed setting]
- We are also using files for lists as have found that large
lists (100K+) a REALLY slow in mySQL
Sending rates J
Not showing off but thought it good to share what you _can_
get from DaDa if you dedicate a bit of money and passion to such a great
program!
BTW we are sending opted in newsletters for our fashion clients
not spam!
