Here's the correct capitalization:

In my config file, I have the following: $SUBSCRIBER_DB_TYPE = 'MySQL'; $ARCHIVE_DB_TYPE =
'MySQL'; $SETTINGS_DB_TYPE = 'MySQL';
$SESSION_DB_TYPE = 'MySQL';

In the newest versions of Dada Mail, all these variables should be
simply, "SQL", for any of the SQL flavors: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite

I don't know when this changeover happened, where stating only "SQL"
happened, but it's been at least a year? 3 0 on for sure

Where you now state what type of SQL backend is in the %SQL_PARAMS var:

# May just be, "localhost"
dbserver         => 'localhost',

database         => '',

# MySQL:      3306
# PostgreSQL: 5432
port             => '3306',

# MySQL:      mysql
# PostgreSQL: Pg

archives_table      => 'dada_archives',
settings_table      => 'dada_settings',
session_table       => 'dada_sessions',

) unless keys %SQL_PARAMS;

The key/value you want to pay attention to is, "dbtype":

    dbtype           => 'mysql',

For MySQL, it should be, "mysql" (lowercase) This matches the name
of the actual Perl driver - like it lists in that error message:

Available drivers: CSV, DBM, ExampleP, Excel, File, Gofer, Mock,
Proxy, SQLite, SQLite2, Sponge, mysql
