1) Is the code in this link compatible with vers 3 03?

  • The code changes won't be, no I did make the changes for the 3 1 alpha release - they're in there, but I don't suggest using that version yet for production

I'll look at the 3 1a code, perhaps I can graft that section in to 3 03

Dear someone, if you're reading, please post this--thanks, J

  • The advice to change the %LIST_SETUP_DEFAULTS is still usable though - it's what i use for the bounce handler for clients If there's any particular settings you need the key for, let me know :) There's already a stub in the dada_config file for the bounce handler stuff - you can just add more key/value pairs

I'll look that over again

I looked at the "dada_settings" table in phpMyAdmin and am also wondering if I can create them more simply using that Seems like all fields will be the same except the password

I think it's possible, but my SQL-foo is a little rusty, so I'm not sure how you would insert a row, based on the value of a different, changing one of the column values along the way (in this case, the, "list" column)

Actually, it's pretty easy to duplicate the entire list settings in phpMyAdmin Just select and open the edit screen on all of the rows of an existing list being used as a model Make the requisite changes and then at the bottom of the window, there's a drop down menu that allows for saving as new rows Presto, a new list Except the password and 'cypher', whatever that is would be the same as the model I would need to change them to suit the new list and I don't yet know the encryption method you use or how to implement it on an existing cell

I could more easily make a little copy fields script in php, but the same problem gets in the way, that of encrypting the cypher and password for the new list
