Re: Fundraising Update - I need your help

As a new user, I wasn't clear on how the fundraiser related to the Pro version I bought. I saw the link but it didn't seem to be for me, so I didn't investigate. It might be helpful to use display a box with a short description or example of how the fundraiser works and what it's for. I just made pledged, so I'm over that conceptual hurdle now ;-)

With only a few days left, we're only a third of the way to what's needed.

I was hoping to give an update on this, as well as share some neat stuff I've done with the feature dev branch of Dada Mail, but I've been literally, just holding down the fort, with helping with support requests, opening, fixing and closing bugs and the rest. Which, is sort of  why the fundraiser was started: I need time paid to work on features, or my time goes elsewhere.

The other thing I thought curious was this:

This is the post that allows you to vote on which feature you'd like included. There's quite a bit of votes - over 8 times as many people voted, as contributed to the fundraiser. Eight Times. This leads me to believe that people want new features in, but they don't want to donate.

That's fine - I made it some you don't have to donate to vote, but if *no one* donates and we don't reach the goal needed for just one of the new features, I can't get that slot of time to work on them.

So not to stretch out the point - if you can donate, please do:

I know the holidays are also fighting for your wallet's attention and the economy isn't the best - but donations can be as little as $10 and they'll really help out on getting Dada Mail to go forward. If Dada Mail is worth something to you, now's the time to let me know :)

Cheers,
