Step 1) Untar the dadamail tarball into your public_html/cgi-bin directory It will create a subdirectory called dada within cgi-bin dada has directories below it

Step 2) chmod 755 dada/mail cgi

Step 3) Using a browser, browse to cgi-bin/dada/mail cgi It should give you the dadamail web page, but it will say it is not configured Consider that screen a proof of concept

Step 4) Configure as in the documentation, using either the "easy" changes to Config pm, or the "advanced" method requiring creation of a tree of configuration

Step 5) Browse to cgi-bin/mail cgi It should now not have an error message because its completely configured Log into the admin interface using the password from Config pm, put yourself in as a subscriber, and send out an email via the web interface

Step 6) Tighten up security Be sure you shadow your password

Step 7) Continue tightening things up and learning

First question: Are you trying to make a discussion list where each person can post, or are you just trying to make an email blaster, like to send out newsletters? Or are you trying to do something different from those two things?
