Here's what to find in the mail cgi file

This is the line you probably want to play around with:
print $q->header('application/x-www-form-urlencoded');
The "XML" That's being produced is more, XML-like than actual XML and was useful for things like Flash 5, that came out now, a long time ago It itself didn't have much support for XML, thus the weird content type, lack of line endings, etc
You may have to play around with this a little bit, or just write your own little script The Cookbook examples in the docs should be a pretty good start,
