Hello All,
I got Multiple Fields support in Dada Mail bolted on
Currently, the SQL backends (and currently, that just means the MySQL
flavor) can support an arbitrary amount of additional columns in the
dada_subscribers table
This should make upgrading a breeze, since
it's backwards compatible with any other Dada made in the last
5
years or so
You can mass subscribe new subscribers via the list control panel,
View the subscribers with the additional fields,
And mass remove them,
As well as edit these subscribers individually
Mail merging for these columns is also working
A few hurtles still remain:
An individual subscribing still has to be figured out
That'll be the
hardest hurtle
Having default values for these columns should probably be put in place
and a whole lot of testing has to be done
The good thing is the backwards compatibility as I mentioned and that
the Plaintext backend still exists, although it won't support
multiple fields
I'll probably will be releasing something once I get those done
After that, it would be really really nice to get a some sort of
"Send to subscribers that meet these parameters" put on, but that's a
whole 'nother animal
That's about it ;)
