Justin,

I think no responses indicates no problems with the move to Mail::POP3Client Thanks for making the change, it's a good move, IMHO

Craig

OK, since no one responded, I guess it's not a hot issue :)

I've started the changeover from Net::POP3 to Mail::POP3Client - I've started with the Bounce Handler, which, amongst other things, means you can use it with GMail (Gmail for domains, most likely)

It'll also give you finer control on what kind of authentication scheme you want - either Cleartext, MD5 hash or SSL encrypted over port 995(?) - and an auto setting, if you don't know/care It should also get rid of that hiccup, where Dada Mail tries to connect first securely and if that fails, in cleartext, which was something that people have suggested have something done about

I'll leave the old engine in there, just in case, but there's no way to switch the engine easily - it'll be there, just in case someone needs it for their own projects, which I don't think there's many people

Once I change everything over (shouldn't take much), you'll be able to use Gmail for Domains with Dada Mail for most everything, which is good! since I don't think Gmail has sending limits (and correct me if I'm wrong)

Hazzah!
