OK,So I dusted off the SpamAssassin stuff I had worked on - the server this list is hosted on had some upgrades done to it, which meant calling SpamAssassin directly was something I could do - it's very resource-intensive, but it was an option.But! There's another option and that's just to read the SpamAssassin headers inside the message itself. I left the original idea still in the program, so the option look like this:
So, if a message is seen as SPAM, it's silently ignored. No being bounced back to itself, the list owner - the *list* for some bizarre reason, just dead on arrival. And since it's based on SpamAssassin, when that module's rules, filters, etc get update, so does Dada Mail's, so we should be covered come whatever.
