Finally, I've made batch sending mandatory, and simplified the range of times you can set a batch to, from 1-60 messages every 1-60 seconds Sounds constrictive, but you should be able to get between 3600 and almost a quarter of a million messages sent using these settings Should fit everyone's needs :)

Hi Justin,

My web host company asked me to use the following settings: send 50 emails every 5 minutes

I know, this is the same as 10 emails every 60 seonds But to start a new batch for only sending 10 emails looks a bit over the top, or not? Dada's log file will increase also a lot Therefore I would like to see the range from 0-60 seconds increased with e g 1-10 minutes as well Or put the ranges in Config pm so we can adjust them ourselves?

Oh! And I've made a cronjob script version of the web-based sending monitor thingy, so you can just run the cronjob every minute/5 minutes/whatever and hardly think twice

It's very likely that "el cheapo web hosts" do not support cron jobs When such a web host allows you to send 300 emails per hour (a large web hoster in the Netherlands uses this maximum) and you have a list of 3000 members, you need to have the browser opened for at least 10 hours, or not? Would it be possible to start the monitor script with a cronjob from another web server? Just a thought

Regards,

Frans
