I think the address validation function is overly aggressive in Valid pm Dada accepts addresses in the first form, but not in the second or third forms:
rower@movieeditor com rower@movieeditor com (Robin Rowe) Robin Rowe rower@PROTECTED
All of these are valid email addresses, aren't they? Can I stop Dada from treating mulitiple words per field as multiple addresses? Is that a bug?
Note that I'm not really looking for adding additional fields (although that sounds nice), just making my existing email list data (from mailman) work in Dada
I looked at modifying the code, but found it confusing The $RFC822PAT regex expression looks crazy It seems like breaking the address into substrings could be a more reasonable approach then testing the entire address all at once What do you think?
