I did upgrade the program without deleting every dada_file, files
To me it looks like that this is actually the source of your trouble It is reccomended (at least I personaly recommend it) to do all dada upgrades always as a complete re-install (which is a bit time consuming but actually quite easy)
You make a copy plus download the content of your dada_files to your local computer, then built new lists, subscribe yourusers in a new batch, updated the individual settings plus the design changes from your control panel and you are done
I also did an upgrade recently To me the file structure looks quite different to the predecessors
