Justin,
I have two sites now using dadaMail Both are getting feedback that they are getting sporadic announcements from the list It's not really all an AOL thing is it seems to be for GerardTruffle
Here's my pitch I respect your time and rate I would like to see if it was my set-up and configuring that is causing the trouble, or something more diabolical as long as it's not my fault
I would like to hire you to look at these two installations and ferret-out any thing I may have messed up
Personally I'm convinced it has something to do with people's local settings over which I have no control
Let me know how you'd like to go about getting payment and FTP information
They are both installed on UNIX boxes (yea!) with pretty standard configuration
There's no HUGE rush on this (at least from me) I just want my client's to know I'm on it
Also I have gotten both clients on the AOL White List still some folks ain't getting it
Thanks Happy Halloween
Stan

Over the years, I have had several lists that inevitably had AOL'ers subscribed to them I have went through all the rigmarole of getting white listed by AOL, and having my AOL subscribers put me on their white list Still, with out fail, sooner or later an AOL account will either stop receiving a posting sporadically, or find themselves totally unable to receive any mailings from my sites
A call to AOL, or as I call them, "The Blind Leading the Blind" results in a string of denials, although the emails do start working again within 24 hours Coincidence, I think not
Any way, AOL sucks The best alternative would be to see if your subscribers can get a free email account, Yahoo, Gmail, etc That would alleviate your's and their problem totally
