And while we're on the topic of header content, I thought I'd better ask a second time in case anyone missed it the first:
Right now, the header texts look something like:
: Dada Mail :: Sign Up for a List ::
Justin and I would like to move the decorative/presentational dots in those texts from the HTML templates into the stylesheet, so they don't get in the way of future alternative stylesheet layouts or designs But doing so will mean that IE, which doesn't understand the CSS2 :before and :after selectors, would not show those dots at all And I know IE still has a lot of market share
Justin approved of the change in: http://mojo skazat com/cgi-bin/dada/mail cgi/archive/dadadev/20050829184003/ and since he's the one who'd receive any angry "why the hell did you change that?!" fallout from folks upgrading to 2 10, I take that as a pretty solid vote in favor of the change But does anyone else object to this change?
FWIW: A screenshot of what will happen in IE/Win if the title is long enough to bump into the Dada Mail "logo" is attached
