Hey, Just a heads up -
The top/red header on the list screens doesn't float to the center in
IE 5/Mac - it just sticks to the left
Has anyone else seen this? I'm
not sure if Shane has access to a Mac to check this out
but (Shane)
is there anything you can think of that'll stand out?
Also, I noticed the body styles look like this:
[snip] body { margin:50px 0; padding:0; text-align:center; /* page centering hack for IE */ font-family:Georgia,Times,'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:13px; line-height:150%; }
/* overrides for list/archive pages only: */ body#Dada { }
/* overrides for administration pages only: */ body#DadaAdmin { margin:0; background-color:#fff; text-align:left; } [/snip]
I've thus changed it to:
[snip] body {}
/* overrides for list/archive pages only: */ body#Dada {
margin:50px 0;
padding:0;
text-align:center; /* page centering hack for IE */
font-family:Georgia,Times,'Times New Roman',serif;
font-size:13px;
line-height:150%;
}
/* overrides for administration pages only: */ body#DadaAdmin { margin:0; background-color:#fff; text-align:left;
font-family:Georgia,Times,'Times New Roman',serif;
font-size:13px;
line-height:150%;
} [/snip]
So that when you apply Dada's style to an already existing template
of varying quality, the margins/padding that Dada uses doesn't get
transfered to the template it's being put into
Here is a already existing template design of varying quality :) as
an example:
http://www
skazat
com/cgi-bin/dada/mail
cgi
In this example, it looks like I put Dada's style first and then the
site's original styling last
The idea being, if the site already has an element styled, Dada will
use that, if not, you'll get Dada's styling
Since the original site design doesn't have a body tag with the id
of, "Dada" the margins/default font stuff doesn't get appled
That's sort of what I'm looking for and was the problem I was having
and trying to solve, before
