Re: Request For Comments - archive, but do not send/backdate widget

Any comments?

First, of course: what a weird little option!

Basically, my first thoughts aren't big-picture stuff at all, but merely a few usability details Here's a point-form brain dump:

  • As it seems to be an either/or choice: should the first two checkboxes be changed to radio buttons instead? And if so, should "Do not archive this message" be a choice as well? [Remember, I'm seeing this screenshot completely out of context ]

  • I know that Dada Mail uses the American date order (mm/dd/yyyy) rather than the British (dd/mm/yyyy) or International (yyyy/mm/dd), but to avoid possible confusion with the British I'd prefer to see the months spelled out Yes, I know it's shown just above the dropdowns, but still

  • Can you force the one-digit minute and second options to two digits (:00,:01,:02)?

  • A pedantic little thing that I think shows up elsewhere in the program as well (yes, I'll go look): "a m " and "p m ", not "am" and "pm"

  • Personal preferences: I wouldn't italicize the parenthesized stuff, nor would I include the comma in, "Archive, but DO NOT send"

  • And that is all
