Re: improved CSS customization coming in 2.10 alpha 2

Justin, please project your intentions more clearly in future This
stuff /was/ ready for the beta last night, and I would've preferred to
have this work in there as well, rather than hearing about your decision to
move to beta by this surprise announcement in my inbox this morning

My intentions is to get going on a release of this I've made that
really clear I also want to release by September, which is in the
roadmap I missed the alpha release on Monday, which is obvious
Releasing something as a beta was my intention If there's more work
to be done, we'll release another beta, no problem, but do understand
that you're the one that answered my question re: templating with a,
"Well, /I have a surprise for you!/" :) That doesn't give me much
to go on What's the solution to the problem? I stated what I've been
doing, but asked if there was a better way

Anyways, it's released as beta, because there's nothing I want to do
more and there's not much more that I think needs to be done I've
asked for a more in-depth description of the changes you've made to
Dada Mail - rather than the one sentence I have up, and I haven't
gotten that So, I'm also being left in the dark;

Regardless, the next release will not be 2 10 stable There's time to
put in changes, no problem

In the future, I'll attempt to give a shout out of when I'll release
a distro - but, as time has shown again and again, I will miss the
date I try to target, sometimes for reason out of my control I've
always stated that I hate stating ETA's

If, in the future, because you have commit access, you would like to
discuss the changes you propose before doing them, you may facilitate
in coordination of features you want in and the release schedule and
also get some feedback before you put in time with coding

It's what I've been trying to do and it's what the list is for If I
remember correctly, many of the features I've proposed quite recently
have been either giving insightful comments by many people on the
list, or shot down completely Those that I knew could make it in,
could be put in, which was one feature concerning the discussion list
and which took 2 minutes to pop in

So, I guess what I'm saying in regard to the changes that did not
make it into the beta, I would really appreciate discussing what it
is you were going to do, to understand how you see the problem and
what solution you propose is This also keeps me in tabs on what the
changes in Dada Mail are doing It also may save you personally some
time

Finally, I chalk this up to growing pains, so it ain't no thing
