Re: some suggestions/improvements for Dada

  1. At the bottom of the screen 'Manage Copy | Email Messages' there
    is a table to explain the available tags The following tags are
    not listed, but they can be very usefull:

OK, we'll make sure that in there;

2 Since we have a 'list switch' button at the left upper corner, the
link "Sign In to Another List" seems to be superfluous I would
prefer to change this link to 'Administration' e g in case we want
to create a new list So I changed the following lines in Config pm:

{-Title => 'Sign In to Another List', -Title_URL => "$S_PROGRAM_URL?flavor=sign_in", -Function => 'sign_in', -Activated => 1, },

into:

{-Title => 'Administration', -Title_URL => "$S_PROGRAM_URL?flavor=admin", -Function => 'admin', -Activated => 1, },

That's not the worst idea, although the list switcher widget only
appears if you log in as root

3 Talking about the 'list switch' button at the left upper corner:

I think I talked enough about this in my last message :)

  1. When a list is configured as 'discussion list' and option 'Batch
    Confirmations' or 'Finishing Messages' is enabled, these
    notification messages are send to subscribers as well

Ok, that's probably a bug

Therefore these notification messages should be blocked when the
list is a group list Ofcourse, the options in the admin screen
must be accompanied by a text like "Note: disabled for discussion
lists"

If it goes to just the list owner, I'm comfortable with having it on
- it gives piece of mind that the messages are really going out
There's many things that you would do differently between a announce- only list and a discussion-list, but I don't think this is one of
them :)

Justin Simoni
