As I've stated, it looks like the problem with deleting files is with
the CVS GUI frontend I was using - in CVS-land (or is it, CVSland?
(: ), you have to first remove a file from your local repository,
send the, "cvs rm" command to the CVS server, and then commit the
file

The problem is, that when you remove a file from your local
repository, my GUI frontend would magically make the file I wanted to
delete disappear from its own file list, which made it impossible to
right-click and select the, "remove" command
The program also uses
it's own CVS directory scheme, so I can't just change to the command
line to issue the commands and then pop back up to the GUI frontend -
that's frustrating
I've thus moved back to jCVS:
http://jcvs
org
It's a little clunky but very very powerful
Anyways, I can now just delete the file from the Finder, issue the,
"remove" and "commit" command from jCVS
I'll see if I can't do any more housecleaning
According the cvs
docs, the files will still be in the repository, just in a different
location;
