Re: No stats in main Tracker screen

That is probably it. The list is large and over 10 years old, so there is lots of data. I'll look at deleting some of the old data. Is there any variable I can change to avoid it timing out if that is the problem?

Any thoughts on what is happening when I try to view the Tracker page in Chrome or Safari and it redirects me in a never-ending loop?

Warm regards,

Mary Ann

We've also made similar changes to the Tracker plugin's default screen, as well as preloading some of the easier-to-create data before the rest of the data is available. Crunching the numbers to show the table of analytics may take a while, if you have busy lists! Now, you'll have access to the individual message reports before the index report is ready.

The database tables that holds are the tracker data can be millions of rows large, and multiple queries are done to create that table on the index - can take a bit to get it filled out! Until that's all done, getting access to the individual tracker reports was somewhat impossible. Now, we just create the table without the data filled in, then swap in a table with the data filled in, once it's ready.

So, it's possible that the data is never filled in because the query is still running, or that the request just times out after a while. One way to make things faster is to remove some of the data in the tables, which you can do in the Tracker plugin itself.

Possible some of the queries could be optimized, or better (any?) indexes could be put on the tables themselves. This is the meat and potatoes of what creates that table,
