Upgraded to 4.1 but lists missing!

Hi,

Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

I have just upgraded from 3.x to 4.1.0 (no installer so did it manually, with FTP etc.). My set up is with configuration files in an external directory, i.e. .dada_files folder and root password encrypted. The database schema has been updated correctly as far as I can see, by the running the upgrade script in extras folder.

However, after upgrading to 4.1.0, when I go to the URL where mail.cgi is I don't see any of my existing lists? Instead all I can see is a welcome page with GNU license terms and 1) form to create new mailing lists and 2) go into configuration settings. The lists are definitely still there because I can see the previous entries using phpmyadmin. How can I start to debug this situation?

Any help is much appreciated!

To actually use the SQL backend - which is, I think, where your lists are stored, you'll have to remove these lines:

Thanks, that worked!

In fact, comparing against my backup of the v3.x dada_config, I can now see that the offending lines have been removed, but it's been a while since I edited the file, obviously. :-)

I have just upgraded to the most recent release and my lists are also missing. I'm getting the same welcome message as if this is a brand new install. We were not using an SQL Backend before the upgrade. So any suggestions on my first step to remedying the problem? Thanks.
