But, it's not a stumper at all! :) Those directories are what's causing the problems.

I would suggest a reinstall, as the Frontpage Extensions have completely corrupted your installation. There's an FAQ about it:

Do option #1, as option #2 is a little silly.

I'm unclear why you think you have to recreate your mailing lists themselves though, configure the program as before and the mailing lists should pop back up,

The reason I suggested I might recreate my mailing list, uninstall and re-install is that I would be updated with the latest version which I hope will be more compatible with FP extensions as my host and me use, and I have less than 50 subscribers at this time. I would also use the Simple Scripts installation instead of the manual as I did before. Hopefully this would be much easier and more effective (and easier to update when updates are available).

I'd still be worried with the Simple Scripts install, as you're still going to have your, "DADA" (uppercase) directory in a location that the FP extensions are going to possibly be created. If it happens again, do consider moving that DADA directory out of your public_html directory and into just your home directory.

Well, I did uninstall the old version, reinstall with Simple scripts to version 4.9.1, and it worked. I then was informed that Simple Scripts had just updated to the newest 5.0.1 version, so I updated right away. And... again it would not send out webpages. So, I uninstalled those damn Frontpage extensions, and shazam, things began working properly. I got my newsletter finally out. I left the extensions uninstalled, and everything seems to work fine with the site, except to upload site updates. Guess I need to look into FTPing the updates and see if I can do without those *#&*&$*&*&*@! frontpage pain-in-the-a$$ extensions.
