Scheduled sending

Postby mscperu » Sun Jan 25, 2009 7:04 pm

Greetings.

I'm new regarding DadaMail.

I've searched but did not find the answer to my question.

Suppose I write a sequence of messages and would like to send them one after an other at scheduled moments, say once a week for the next ten weeks. Is this possible with DadaMail?

Suppose a suscriber wants to recieve them at a shorter interval. Could he hurry up the messages?

One more question.

Somebody has a Spanish version of DadaMail?

Thank you for your answer

It's been almost a year since this post so I'm guessing this can't be done?

My question is similar in that I'd like to set up a course that is sent in several lessons, one lesson a week, as people subscribe to the list. Basically, can I set up a list so that every seven days an prewritten email is sent out?

Example:

Subscriber #1 subscribes today, gets email #1

A week from now, Subscriber #2 subscribes and gets email #1, but Subscriber #1 gets email #2.

Is this possible?

Re: Scheduled sending (you're looking for an autoresponder)

What both you guys are looking for is more of what's called an, "Auto Responder". It's not something Dada Mail really does, although I understand its usefulness. The closest is the Beatitude Plugin, but it cannot do the staggering trick, so it's def. not a true auto responder.

I don't really have any leads on a quality piece of software to fit that bill though.

DadaMail has been working like a charm, but I'd love it if it had an autoresponder option I could purchase. The autoresponder programs I'm finding are not inspiring confidence. If anyone finds one they are happy with, please let me know.

Hal1748 - perhaps something I could build for you? If you have some sort of budget, I may be able to make something of use. The initial funding of a feature in Dada Mail usually means that feature will be a part of Dada Mail for a great while and it'll only just get better, as Dada Mail continues to mature,

If you want, Hal, email me -> justin@dadamailproject.com and we can talk about some options. I can't really guarantee extreme speed in implementing this, just because good software takes time to craft and there's no incentive to give any of my clients garbage code - it'll but me back 10x in the end.
