Update subscriber when address found already

I've recently upgraded to 5.0.1 from 2.10.10.

This now gives me user profiles and extra fields which I didn't have before. I actually have extra field info (title / forename / surname / company) for a lot of the addresses already in my database, and I figured I'd try simply adding them like: -

email@domain.com,Mr,Test,User,ACME Co.

and hoped that Dada would update the existing user with this info. It didn't - simply refused saying already existed which I half expected.

Is there any reason for this? Or could it be a feature request that the admin and update information for existing users in this way?

It's a great idea, just not something Dada Mail currently supports.

IMHO it would be a good future addition, although I guess you have to be careful allowing the admin to fill in profile details that perhaps the subscriber doesn't want there...but then again it's not public information and can easily be removed by the subscriber if they wish.
