dada bridge pop3 error

I would like to set up a mailing list for local swim team that I help out with. They have their hosting through netfirms.

Using simple scripts, I installed dada mail up and running, and it works just fine, however, I cannot get the bridge to work. I have tried every setting setting option in the pop3 section, but I always get the same error:

Testing List: 'board'
Logging into POP3 server: pop.orcaswimteam.netfirms.com
Connection to 'pop.orcaswimteam.netfirms.com ' wasn't successful: could not connect socket [pop.orcaswimteam.netfirms.com , 110]: Invalid argument

POP3 Login Test Complete.

I can send and receive mail throught this POP account no problem. Unfortunately, they do not have a shell where I can try running the perl, so I really have no idea on how to debug this. I've tried 110 and 995.

Well, it turns out that even though they tell me that the pop3 server is pop.MyDomainName.com, it is simply pop.netfirms.com

I found that in a very old knowledge base document.

The bridge still isn't working quite right, but it seems to at least be able to log into the pop3 server.
