500 Error when user tries to confirm subscription

Postby tagmike » Mon Jun 18, 2012 10:37 pm

I'm using 4.3.2 on a Bluehost Apache server. I haven't made any changes to configuration since I upgraded to 4.3.2 (months ago) via Simplescript. I've probably send half a dozen mailings since then with no problem. Last weekend a reader tried to subscribe and got the Server Error 500 message below when she tried to confirm. Looking at the error logs it appears that two or three other people ran into the same problem trying to subscribe, but never contacted me about it.

Could Bluehost have upgraded or changed something that could cause this? Any idea how I can get it back together?

Error message follows:

I'm pretty sure this error is tied in with the default Captcha system in Dada Mail. Disable that (or move to reCaptcha) and that error should clear up,
