From: maryann@thehomeschoolmom com This type of required checkbox is needed for GDPR and ideally would be an integral part of the subscription form HTML Email addresses would not be added until the agreement is checked, and the agreement would be explicitly logged with the subscription data should it be needed to show that the user agreed to the terms
I have not worked on anything GDPR related I have not looked at the details on how best to implement its requirements If you need this work done on your behalf, please reach me personally for development
Somewhat related - I want to control access to subscription forms (I have several unrelated lists on the same Dada installation and I want people to subscribe through their associated websites, not on the mail cgi page form) Is there a way to disable access to the form that loads on mail cgi without making the list a private/hidden list?
There is an option to "Disable all subscriptions" in Mailing List: Options
