Re: Question on bounces
Your second thought is what I've thought myself. The email address they signed up with was forwarded to an email address that is no longer in use. Unfortunately, I can't figure out what one is still on the list that forwards to that email address. Ugh!
Warm Regards, Kelly Ling
First things first: in your setup Kelly Ling, are bounced messages and led by Dadamail bounce handler or do you process / remove them manually?
One explanation for email addresses of bounced messages not showing in your subscriber list is that the subscriber is auto-forwarding his email.
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

From: ladysham@PROTECTED How would I check this out? The email address is nowhere in the database, not as a pending confirmation either. Just can't seem to figure this one out at all.
This is part of the message that I get bounced back.
What's the rest of the bounce message say? Do you see a line (or a similar line) that says something like,
------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------
The "Subject" header should give you clues on the context of the message that was originally sent,

At the moment, there aren't many people with CVS access for Dada Mail - if you would like CVS access, please first talk about the changes you propose and how it will affect the program. If the idea is sound and agreed upon, the change will be comitted. A good track record of this will allow you to have CVS access. Some reasons that patches will not be accepted is if the patch breaks compatibility with a previous version of the program, the patch is too centric to your own problem or the patch simply isn't very good.
